Uptime data centre tier standards are a standardised method to determine the availability and reliability of a data centre facility. Built to Tier 3 specifications the data centre has fully backed up power supply and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, ensuring 99.982% availability for customers’ applications and data.

Cisco’s high-performance carrier grade Aggregation Services Routers backed by the latest Cisco data centre class switching control the core routing between our data centres and your internet connectivity providing added security and peace of mind for your business.
EBC Group’s multiple data centres are inter-connected by diversely routed ultra-high-speed fibre connections for resiliency, scalability and performance. Multiple internet breakouts co-exist in each location for maximum performance and availability. If the primary data centre core fails, all traffic would be routed in/out via the next available data centre.
EBC Group’s data centre team are split across monitoring platforms with skillsets focused in the relevant areas. The primary objective is to ensure centralisation and visibility throughout the hosted platform.
ebcCloud Monitoring will monitor all hardware and network connectivity across all of our data centres. ebcCloud Monitoring is responsible for proactively alerting the data centre team when there is an event outside of the defined tolerances.
In addition to notifying the data centre team, it is also used to notify clients via SMS alerts. In addition to proactive alerts, it’s used as a reporting tool to present customers with easy to understand reports showing usage, trends, growth etc.
