During a recent event, we learned about The Pied Piper Appeal’s urgent Easter Egg appeal for Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. With their usual supplier unable to provide eggs this year, the charity faced the heartbreaking possibility of being unable to brighten Easter for the children in their care.
Without hesitation, our LawFinity team rallied together to ensure the children wouldn’t miss out. We were honoured to donate a significant number of Easter eggs to help support The Pied Piper Appeal’s incredible work with sick and disabled children across Gloucestershire.
Thanks to our donation, the hospital’s play team was able to share Easter eggs not only with children admitted over the holidays, but also with siblings, outpatients, and young patients visiting specialist areas such as oncology and dermatology.
The charity’s touching response said it all:
“Thanks to your kindness, the play team at the children’s ward can now deliver Easter eggs… Your support means that so many children will feel a little extra love and happiness on Easter Sunday, during what might otherwise be a very difficult time.”
