Last week, we officially brought our EBC Group golf tournament season to an unforgettable close at the stunning JCB Golf & Country Club. The weather turned up for the occasion with glorious sunshine, the course was in pristine condition, and the atmosphere on and off the fairways was unmatched.
JCB Golf & Country Club is widely recognised as one of the UK’s most challenging tests of golf, demanding precision, patience, and cool nerves from start to finish.
The battle for the trophy went right down to the wire on the 18th green. Huge congratulations to Gary Skipp, who put on an absolute masterclass to take home the crown with a winning score of 35 points.
It couldn't have been closer at the top of the leaderboard. Joe Alekna and Daniel Dhiren Varma kept the pressure on all afternoon, both pushing Gary to the very end and finishing just a single point behind on 34 points.
Beyond the main leaderboard, we had some impressive shot-making on the skill holes:
Longest Drive: Lawrence Breese, who launched a monster drive measuring 275 yards.
Nearest to the Pin: Stu, who dialled it in at 147.5 yards to secure the win.
An event of this scale doesn't come together overnight, and we want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who made the day such a resounding success:
59club: Thank you for co-hosting alongside us and helping deliver a completely seamless experience from arrival to the final award presentation.
JCB Golf & Country Club: To the entire team at JCB, thank you for your exceptional hospitality and for presenting a course in such world-class condition.
Our Guests: Finally, a massive thank you to all of our valued guests who joined us. The standard of golf was matched only by the great company throughout the day.
