In light of recent changes to remote working, many businesses have been scrambling to find the best collaboration platform to keep their operations ticking whilst away from the office.

Although there are plenty of options available, one particular solution, Microsoft teams, offers a user friendly space that facilitates work between remote users or within a large organisation, and most importantly is available for free as part of Office 365.

Microsoft teams is incredibly straightforward to use, and requires very little set up. If you’re new to Microsoft teams, we have complied a list of helpful links below to get you setup and running on teams.

For anyone who would like to use Microsoft teams, but do not have an Office 365 licence, EBC Group are offering an exclusive 6 months free trial- Register Here.

What is Microsoft Teams?

Managing your teams and projects couldn’t be easier. Teams is made up of 2 channels;

  1. Standard Channel- which is available and visible to everyone
  2. Private Channel- focused, private conversations for a specific audience

These channels allow you to hold meetings, have conversations and work on files together, and are built around a topic, department name or even just for fun!
