Domains Support

The following information details how you can purchase and renew a domain with EBC Group and the procedure to follow for reporting abuse or making a complaint regarding our service. We aim to respond to customer’s written enquiries within 1 business day and aim to resolve any issues you have within 5 business days.


Domain Registration

All domains are renewed or registered for two years.

Domain type example cost:

  • International domains .com .net .org £99.00 + VAT
  • UK domains .co.uk .org.uk .me.uk £59.00 + VAT
  • Alternative UK domains .uk.com .gb.com .uk.net .gb.net £99.00 + VAT


Transfer Costs

.uk domains:

  • Transfer in: Free
  • Transfer out: Free

Other domain types (.com .net .org)

  • Transfer in: £20.00 + VAT
  • Transfer out: Free

The prices stated above include VAT.


Domain Name Renewals

Domain names are registered for set periods of time (and not bought outright). When a domain name reaches the end of the registration period it will expire unless renewed. We will attempt to send you e-mail notifications 30 days before the expiration date to give you the opportunity to renew your domain name. It is important to ensure that your contact details are up-to-date to allow us to send you e-mail notifications.

To renew your domain please contact domains@ebcgroup.co.uk

If you allow your domain registration to expire then all e-mail and website services based at that domain will be suspended and cease to function. If the domain name is not renewed it will be cancelled and deleted from the register after 90 days and made available for resale through a third party registrar.


 

Reporting Abuse

If you suspect any EBC Group hosted websites of hosting fraudulent, copyrighted or illegal material and/or of sending spam or phishing scams please send an email, including as much detail as possible to abuse@ebcgroup.co.uk. 


Complaints

We pride ourselves on providing the highest level of service and satisfaction to our customers, however if things do go wrong we would like to hear about it and understand how we can help and improve for the future. If you wish to make a complaint about a service you have received, please fill in and submit the form on the following page, including as much detail from the issue you have complaints. 

We will acknowledge your complaint within 1 business day and aim to resolve any issues within 5 business days. If you’re not happy with the initial outcome of your complaint or do not receive a response, you can escalate your complaint by emailing ­­­­complaints@ebcgroup.co.uk.
